Looking for an OCEAN EV backoffice alternative? We’re here to help.

Manage all your Landis + Gyr OCPP-compliant chargers for free on Tap’s charger management platform.
In this guide:

IMPORTANT:

As of February, 2024, Landis+Gyr, owner of Etrel hardware and OCEAN EV software, has announced it will close its EV Charging manufacturing operations and EV solutions in Europe. This means no ongoing upgrades, repairs or support for any Landis+Gyr hardware currently on the market. This includes all chargers installed under their former name Etrel.

If you have a charger currently managed on the Landis+Gyr OCEAN EV backoffice, you should switch to a different charger management platform as soon as possible so as not to lose access to your charger. Tap Electric can help with this.

Why is OCPP important for your EV charging infrastructure?

OCPP gives you the flexibility to choose the software that best fits your requirements, now and in the future. OCPP (Open Charge Point Protocol) enables chargers to communicate with central management systems using a common language. This allows for remote monitoring, configuration, and control of your chargers, regardless of the software provider you choose. OCPP is widely adopted by all parties within the EV charging eco-system.
