What kind of coverage do these charge cards have?
- Both Eneco and Tap have good, comparable coverage in the Netherlands.
- Eneco can be used across Europe, their charge cards are accepted at more than 650,000 public chargers.
- Tap charge cards can be used in Austria, Belgium, Germany, France, Ireland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.
Do I need a charge card to start a session?
- You can only charge with Eneco using an activated physical charge card. The delivery typically takes 3 business days.
- With the Tap app, you can start charging right away via the app. You don’t need to register or use a charge card to start your first session.
- Tap also offers a pay-as-you-go option for drivers who want to charge without a charge card. However, if you plan on charging more than once with Tap, it’s always better to sign up to Tap Light since you get cheaper prices than pay-as-you-go.
Can I have more than one charge card on my account?
- You can have up to 5 charge cards on your account with Eneco. You pay a one-time shipping fee per card.
- With Tap Electric, you can have two charge cards (Tapkeys) on a family subscription. Tap ships your charge cards at no cost.
