Finance Manager
What you'll be doing
- Owning the monthly close and reporting cycle, ensuring accurate, timely financials
- Managing tax compliance across multiple European markets (VAT, filings, local requirements)
- Supporting forecasting, budgeting, and business planning, working closely with founders and leadership
- Building and improving financial systems and processes — including performance tracking, AP, AR, and cash management
- Partnering with the wider team to make finance a business enabler, not a bottleneck
- Helping scale finance operations in line with company growth (new markets, products, entities)
- Working with external partners such as accountants, tax advisors, and auditors where needed
About you
- You have ~5 years of experience in finance, controlling, or a similar role
- You’re comfortable owning the numbers end-to-end — from transactional detail to management insight
- You enjoy building structure where none exists (yet)
- You’re pragmatic, detail-oriented, and not afraid to roll up your sleeves
- You thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and either have startup experience or strongly want it
Nice to haves
- Background in accounting (education or hands-on experience)
- Experience with multi-country finance and European tax/VAT structures
- Fluency in Dutch (spoken and written)
- Familiarity with modern finance tools and cloud accounting systems
- Experience supporting fast-growing or venture-backed companies
