Flutter Engineer
About the job
We’re looking for a Flutter Engineer to help build and evolve our mobile app and webportal, used daily by electric vehicle drivers, charger owners, and installers across Europe. You’ll work closely with backend engineers, product, and the founders to design and ship features that make charging simpler and more reliable. This is a hands-on product engineering role. Your work will ship quickly, be used by real customers, and continuously improve through experimentation, iteration, and collaboration with the wider team.
The role
As a Flutter Engineer, you will:
- Build front end functionality to delight our users – electric vehicle drivers, charger owners, and installers
- Collaborate with the team to ideate and implement new features
- Support our data driven approach by running A/B tests
- Iterate and improve the mobile codebase taking it to world class status
- Hone your skills in a safe environment and grow in your career
Important: this role involves direct contact with customers. If you prefer to stay entirely behind tickets and specs, this role is probably not a good fit.
About you
- You love Flutter but you’re opinionated. When we say BLoC, you can’t wait to tell us the good, the bad and the ugly sides of it.
- You’re smart. Figuring out something new excites you.
- You can work on your own, but involve others in what you do. The backend and UI teams will be your partners in crime.
- You’re driven by shared goals and you have your own. Whether it’s to learn, to build or to achieve.
- You have that startup mindset. Ambiguity equals opportunity. But you also create order, stick to coding standards and use automated tests to sleep better.
- You are living in the Netherlands, or are willing to move here and already have the right to work (for example, as an EU citizen or via your partner).
What you’ll need
- 2+ years of building awesome apps using Flutter & Dart
- Solid experience with the intricacies of Git
Nice to haves
- You’ve battled with native Android/iOS development
- You’ve flirted with Flutter Web

A bit more about Tap
